Course details

Our ISO 14001:2015 Transition Course is a two-day, 18-hour course that teaches you what you need to know about transitioning to the new ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems (EMS) standard requirements. Understand the changes from ISO 14001:2004 to ISO 14001:2015 and how these will affect your organization so you can start putting transition arrangements in place. This course will enable you to identify the core changes and requirements of ISO 14001:2015. It will assist you with the implementation of the changes within your organization.

Two days with classes starting at 8 a.m., ending at 5 p.m. including lunch and two breaks.

Course instructions and provided materials

Participants will receive a course manual and reference materials. Please bring your own copy of the ISO 14001:2015 standard. You may purchase the standard here. Participants are encouraged to bring their organization's particular process and system documentation concerns to class so the instructor can help them apply their learning by assisting with relevant transition questions. Students not initially passing the course will be allowed to retest at a later date. Attendees successfully completing the TPECS examinations provided in conjunction with this course receive a Certificate of Attainment for these Exemplar Global (formerly RABQSA International) knowledge competency units:

  • EM - Environment Management Systems

The Certificate of Attainment provides evidence of knowledge competency defined by Exemplar Global in the competency units required for certification as a Environment Management Systems Lead Auditor using ISO 14001.
